Becoming Regulated in a Dysregulated World
Join us for Becoming Regulated in a Dysregulated World, an interactive wellness experience designed to help you slow down, reconnect with yourself, and learn practical ways to support your nervous system in everyday life.
Led by Licensed Professional Counselors and Wellness Facilitators Marisa Stalvey, MS, LPC and Dyan Covington, MEd, LPC, NCC, this two-hour workshop combines education with hands-on, sensory-based experiences so you can do more than simply learn about emotional regulation—you can practice it.
During the workshop, you’ll experience:
Nature-inspired grounding and sensory exercises
Aromatherapy and sensory exploration
Mindful tasting and present-moment awareness
Guided meditation and visualization
Practical, evidence-based coping and regulation strategies
You’ll leave with simple tools you can use when you’re feeling stressed, overwhelmed, distracted, or out of balance.
You’ll also receive a Regulation Kit to take home, including:
A sensory fidget
Coping skill card
Reflection prompts
Regulation reminders
Tools for continued daily practice
This workshop may be especially helpful for:
Helping professionals, educators, healthcare professionals, first responders, leaders, caregivers, and anyone who wants practical tools for managing stress and creating more calm in everyday life.
