A little Halloween fun with creativity, engineering, and coping skills!
Join Calm Creators for a fun, hands-on workshop where children ages 7–12 will create their very own spooky black cat with moving eyes!
Through creativity, playful engineering, and problem-solving, children will have opportunities to practice patience, flexibility, and perseverance while learning a practical coping skill they can use beyond the workshop.
This small-group experience encourages children to explore, experiment, and express themselves in a welcoming, supportive environment.

⏰ Time: 2:00–3:30 PM
📍 Location: 6303 Indiana Ave., Lubbock, TX
🎨 Ages: 7–12
💜 Cost: $30 per child (all supplies included). Pre-registration required!

💜 Drop-Off Workshop
This is a drop-off experience! Parents or guardians may drop off their children at 2:00 PM and return for pickup at 3:30 PM.
Children will enjoy 90 minutes of hands-on creativity, STEAM exploration, and coping skills in a supportive, small-group setting.
Parent/guardian contact information, emergency contact details, and authorized pickup information will be collected as part of registration or check-in.
🌎 Workshop Facilitator
Facilitated by Marisa Stalvey, MS, LPC, a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor with a passion for helping children develop coping skills through creativity and playful learning.
The workshop will be conducted in English, with Spanish-language support available upon request.
No previous crafting experience is needed. Just bring your creativity!
